Powertrain Component Warranty – 5 years or 100,000 kilometers

The Powertrain Component Warranty covers gasoline and diesel powertrain components for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, with exceptions for certain engines like TurboMax™ and Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engines in Chevrolet and GMC vehicles, which are covered for 5 years or 160,000 kilometers. The Emission Control Systems Warranty covers emission-related defects in genuine GM components, including diagnostic costs, parts, and labor.
