Well…founded in 2011, VinAudit is a small technology company with a mission to deliver “the data without the brand” –offering a lower-cost alternative to traditional vehicle history providers. To do so, VinAudit has been approved to access data from provincial departments of transportation and other official agencies from 10 provinces and territories in Canada– in addition to aggregating one of the most comprehensive independent databases of vehicle data available. As we do not have a large sales force or marketing budget, our goal is to let our pricing and our service speak for itself.
How much does it cost?
Our dealer program costs $30/month and $3/report. For example, if you run 50 reports in a month, the total cost is $180 for that month * plus applicable taxes. There are no other fees, and you can cancel any time via our online cancellation form.
Do I have to be a car dealer to sign up?
No — the Dealer Program is not exclusive to car dealerships. Any licensed business that consistently needs to run vehicle history reports can sign up to take advantage of the program.
What steps do I need to take to sign up?
To get started, all you have to do is complete your information on our VinAudit Dealer signup page, understand and agree to the VinAudit Terms and Conditions , and confirm your billing details. Accounts are activated instantly, though a member of our support team may contact you to confirm your registration.
How do I run reports after signing up?
After successfully creating a VinAudit Dealer account, just log in and you will be greeted with a VIN query search box (it’s a huge text box that’s hard to miss!) where you can enter single or multiple VIN/s to run the vehicle history reports that you need. How can I store, share, and/or manage my vehicle history reports under a VinAudit dealer account?
Vehicle history reports pulled can be saved and shared as PDF files and printed for your records. Additionally, you will be provided an archive of all the reports you ran previously under your VinAudit dealer account. Each report is retained by VinAudit system for a period of 1 year.
Can I run VinAudit reports from my phone?
Running VinAudit vehicle history reports is easier than ever — you may pull them using your phone’s web browser.
How would I cancel my VinAudit subscription?
If you’d like to cancel your VinAudit subscription for any reason, there’s no need to go through hoops! Simply fill out the Account Cancellation Form , and your account will be cancelled within 24 hours after submission of the request. You will be notified via email confirming the cancellation.
What is the difference between the vehicle reports pulled using a VinAudit dealer account and the reports run through VinAudit’s homepage?
For dealers subscribed under the “Full VinAudit” plan, there will be no difference between the content of dealer reports and consumer reports.
